O-ring for the filtration lid of a Swing pool
Looking for a lid O-ring for your filtration? This is the seal between the housing and the lid, and it is an original Mountfield spare part for Swing series pools.
The ring closes the housing of the cartridge filtration unit, which also takes the hose O-ring.
The ring sits in the groove of the lid and closes it tightly. This way water does not escape around the lid while the filtration is running. With age the seal loses its elasticity.

When you need a new lid O-ring
Replace it if the lid drips or the ring has dried out, cracked or become deformed. It is a good idea to check it every time you open the filtration. A new ring is an inexpensive way to avoid more serious damage.
Why choose an original part
The original Mountfield part is made exactly for your model. This means no fitting or modification is needed. The seal sits evenly all around the lid. This makes the repair quicker and more reliable.
How it is installed
First switch off the pump and release the pressure in the filtration. Then remove the lid and take out the old ring. Clean the groove and fit the new ring without twisting it. Finally, close the lid and check for leaks.
Tips for choosing and ordering
Before ordering, compare the code of your pool with the list above. The code is on the nameplate or in the assembly instructions. If you are in doubt, send us a photo of the old part. This way you avoid ordering the wrong part and returns.
Keep the old part until the installation is finished so you can compare the two. Inspecting the parts at the start and at the end of the season is good practice. This lets you spot wear in time. A planned replacement is cheaper and faster than an emergency one.
Not sure whether the part fits your pool? Contact us with the model or the Czech code of the pool. We will help you choose the right part.
