Cartridge filtration

Cartridge filtration for swimming pool is the simplest and cheapest way to clean water in an inflatable, tubular or small prefabricated pool. The pump passes the water through a folded paper-polyester cartridge that traps dirt. The cartridge is rinsed with water and replaced when worn.

Pumps with cartridge filter

• Swing filter pumps 1,33 and 2,27 m³/h – 12 V, compatible with Intex, Swing and Bestway pools.
• Bestway 3 m³/h – external pump, also suitable for Azuro pools.
• Submersible filtration Azuro 12 V – 2 m³/h – placed directly in the pool.
• SkimmerPlus SFX1000 and SFX1500 – filter pump and skimmer in one for tubular frame pools.

Replacement cartridge filters

Each cartridge filter for a pool has its own type – check the pump model before ordering. We have Intex type H and type A (M1) cartridges, Summer Waves type D and type I for Swing pumps, Bestway type II and Play for the Azuro 2000 submersible pump. For jacuzzis, there are Intex PureSpa S1, Lay-Z-Spa filters and cartridge filters for Wellis.

How to maintain the cartridge filter

1. Rinse the cartridge with a strong stream of water once a week.
2. Keep a spare cartridge so that you don’t stop filtration until the first one runs dry.
3. Replace the cartridge when the pleats tear or the water remains cloudy after cleaning.
4. Turn on the pump with a timer so that it filters at the same time every day.
