Safe use of preparations

SAFETY RULES WHEN WORKING WITH PREPARATIONS:

Please read the label carefully before handling the product. When handling products, the following rules must be observed:

  • Use protective clothing, gloves, and face and eye protection;
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke when working with preparations;
  • Open the packages carefully to avoid spilling the product and creating dust or splashes;
  • Always use and store according to the instructions on the label and safety data sheet;
  • Keep the preparations locked up and out of the reach of children, people with limited sensory and/or mental abilities and pets;
  • In case of ingestion, inhalation, eye or skin contact, DO NOT TAKE ACTION. Stay calm and read and follow the instructions on the label or safety data sheet. Remember that if most preparations are swallowed, especially those with the active ingredient chlorine, VOMITING SHOULD NOT BE INDUCED as it will burn the respiratory tract, and ACTIVATED CHARCOAL SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN. This rule DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL PREPARATIONS, so always follow the instructions on the label and your doctor. The general rule is to drink water – varying amounts depending on the situation;
  • Always add the detergent to a sufficient amount of water and NEVER add water to the detergent. This can cause an explosion with some substances;
  • Do not mix preparations, including during transportation and storage;
  • Never TOUCH the product with wet or unprotected hands;
  • Do not add chlorine tablets directly to the pool. Always use a special dispenser for this;
  • Do not use the pool immediately after adding detergents, especially if they have not dissolved or if the levels of free chlorine in the water are above 0.8 mg/l;

The above rules apply to the majority of the Azur products range, but not all of them are generally applicable. These rules are not exhaustive. If necessary, consult a doctor and show the label or product information sheet.
