Azuro pool cleaners – chlorine, pH and water maintenance
Clear pool water depends on three things: disinfection, correct pH and regular inspection. At Baseini.NET you will find preparation for the base Azuro, manufactured by the Czech plant Mountfield – chlorine tablets, fast chlorine, pH regulators, clarifiers, anti-algae and winterizing preparations, as well as water testers.
Types of pool cleaners
Disinfection – chlorine tablets and quick chlorine
In the section disinfection are the Azuro Chlor Trio chlorine tablets with three actions and the Azuro MULTI 5 in 1 multifunctional tablets, which in addition to disinfection adjust the pH, soften the water, protect against algae and clarify. For small and inflatable pools there are mini tablets of 20 g. For green or heavily polluted water, the Azuro Chlor Shock G quick chlorine granules are used, which are combined with the Chlor Stabil stabilizer.
pH regulators
Chlorine only works effectively at the correct pH – between 7,0 and 7,4. pH regulators Azuro pH Plus and pH Minus raise or lower the value, and Alkalinity Plus stabilizes the water when the pH constantly fluctuates.
Clarification, algae and other preparations
Wednesday other preparations are the clarifiers Azuro Flokul and Bright for murky water, Algaecide against algae, Clear Forte for cleaning the liner, Azuro CA against scale and Azuro Winter for winterizing.
Water testers
Pool testers show when and how much detergent to add: 3-in-1 and Quick Check 4-in-1 test strips, drop testers for chlorine and pH, alkalinity, copper and active oxygen, salt strips and hardness tester. How to maintain the water in the pool
- Check pH and chlorine with a tester at least once a week, and more often on hot days.
- First adjust the pH, then add chlorine – in the reverse order, the detergent is lost.
- Place the tablets in a floating dispenser or skimmer, never directly on the bottom.
- Run the filtration daily and clean the filter regularly.
- For green water, perform shock chlorination and then clarify the water.

What preparations are needed for a swimming pool?
The main ones are chlorine (tablets or granules), a pH regulator and a tester. Depending on the water, you may also need a clarifier, an algaecide and a winterizer.
