How this coping stone calculator works
- Ready-made pool model
The list contains 53 models from the site – RockPool, NewStyle, Royal, Inoxis, the fibreglass pools, Ibiza and Azuro Deluxe – with their inner dimensions and shape.
- Your own dimensions
Rectangular pool, rectangular with a Roman staircase, oval, round and L-shaped. You enter the inner dimensions in metres.
- Straight elements
The perimeter along the waterline is divided by the length of the straight element of the chosen series. If the series has a short element, it is used to make up the remainder.
- Corners
Corners are counted separately: four right corners for a rectangular pool, and for an L-shaped pool – five right corners and one inverted corner. For a Roman staircase, the two special corners are added.
- Ovals and circles
The nearest radius for which the series has a radius element is selected, and the number of curved elements along the arc is calculated.
- Allowance
For the straight elements you can add a 5 or 10% allowance for cutting.
The result shows the number of elements by type, the unit price and the total with VAT, the total weight, and an approximate quantity of adhesive, grout and impregnator. With one button the elements go into the cart, and each line records which pool it was calculated for.
Important: The calculation is approximate. For a non-standard shape, internal steps, skimmers and overflow edges, we confirm the number of elements before delivery – send us a sketch or dimensions.

After the calculator has done the sums: tips for choosing and laying
- A rough surface (sandblasted, bush-hammered) is safer for wet feet; a smooth one is easier to clean.
- Light colours heat up less in the sun. The colour on the screen depends on the monitor – ask for a sample to see the exact shade.
- A joint of about 1 mm is left between the elements, and the dimensions of the concrete products have a tolerance of ±5 mm – so the row is laid out dry before it is glued.
- The coping is glued with cement adhesive onto a stable, dry and cured base, at a temperature between 5 and 30–35 °C.

Coping stone calculator – questions and answers
Is the coping stone calculator accurate?
It calculates from the perimeter of the pool and the length of the elements in the manufacturer's catalogue, and adds an allowance for cutting. For standard shapes the result is reliable; for a non-standard shape we confirm it before delivery.
What dimensions should I enter?
The inner dimensions of the pool along the waterline, in metres – length and width, or the diameter for a round pool.
What is a radius element?
A curved coping stone for an oval or round wall. Each series has specific radii; the calculator selects the one closest to your pool.
Can I order directly from the calculator?
Yes. The "Add the elements to the cart" button puts all the lines in with the exact quantities, and the note attached to them records the model and the dimensions of the pool.
Need an exact quote?
Send us the model or a sketch of the pool – we will calculate the coping stone, the adhesive and the delivery.
