Rubber tiles – colours and types
The tiles come in red, green and grey, and there is also a model with artificial grass on top. Each colour comes in two types:
- Plain tile – with straight edges;
- PUZZLE – with puzzle connectors along the edges, so the surface behaves as one piece.
There are eight products in total – choose the colour and type. The shade of recycled rubber may differ slightly, so order the whole quantity at once.
Rubber tiles for yard and playground
The tiles cushion the step under swings and slides on children’s playgrounds. They also suit terraces, yards, the area around pools and spaces under pergolas and canopies.
Rubber tiles – price and quantity
Prices of rubber tiles start from 13,10 € and go up to 24,40 € per tile, depending on the colour and type. Four tiles cover 1 m², so 40 tiles are needed for 10 m². Add a few spare ones for cutting along the edges.
How to lay rubber tiles
- Base. It must be level, stable and clean, with a slope of about 0.5–1% to drain the water. Concrete, asphalt or compacted gravel are suitable.
- Temperature. Lay between 5 and 25 °C and spread the tiles out about 24 hours in advance.
- Cutting. Cut with a sharp knife or saw, without losing their properties.
- Adhesive. A polyurethane-based adhesive is recommended. It is not included.
The tiles are installed without a specialist. Around the surface you can place a trampoline for the yard, and the whole range is in the playgrounds and trampolines category.
Technical data
The rubber tiles are made of rubber granulate bonded with polyurethane adhesive – about 90% granulate and 10% adhesive. The Shore A hardness is 55–60, the weight is 6 kg per tile, and the origin is the Czech Republic.
