The inlet gasket is the flat ring that seals the connection at the inlet nozzle of the sand filter. It is black and flat. It is suitable for Azuro 5 and G S144T filters. With a sturdy gasket the connection does not lose water.
The part is installed at the inlet of the Azuro PRO 5 m³/h sand filtration unit, while at the outlet works the O-ring for the outlet connector.

Inlet gasket – what it is for
Water from the pump enters the filter through the inlet nozzle. The flat gasket closes the gap between it and the body. This way the connection stays watertight under pressure.
When to replace the gasket
Replace the gasket if it is flattened, cracked or has hardened. Replacement is also needed if the connection drips. This often happens after a few seasons.
How it is installed
First switch off the pump and release the pressure in the filter. Then disassemble the inlet connection and remove the old gasket. Clean the area and fit the new flat one. Reassemble and check for leaks.
