Canada filter with top valve – Atlas Pool
The Atlas Pool Canada filter with top valve is a polyester and fibreglass sand filter with the multiport valve mounted on top. It therefore takes up little space and is convenient for narrower technical rooms. The body is a monobloc of polyester and fibreglass with polyester fibre, and there are seven models – from 400 to 920 mm in diameter.

How to fill the filter with sand
Filling the Canada filter with top valve is easy if you follow a few steps. Before filling with sand, fill the filter halfway with water. This lets you check whether the filter bottom and the collectors were damaged in transport. First pour in the stated amount of coarse sand with a grain size of 3–5 mm (if the model requires it), then the medium sand – 1.5–3 mm, and on top the fine sand – 0.7–1.5 mm. Pour in the water as slowly as possible so as not to disturb the arrangement of the layers.
Do not connect the filter to a pump whose parameters are higher than the maximum for the filter. After filling, the sand must be 10 cm below the upper collector pipe.
Useful information when choosing a sand filter
The most important factors are the width of the surface of the sand bed and the height of the sand fill. The water enters the sand through this very surface. The dimensions of the filter itself are also important – diameter, height and the ratio between them. Filters with non-standard dimensions cannot carry out the filtration process efficiently.

The installation of the Canada filter with top valve must be entrusted only to a qualified technician.
IMPORTANT! – The product must be installed only by a qualified technician and connected to a suitable filter pump, in accordance with an existing structural, technological, plumbing and electrical design prepared by a licensed designer. When the filter is connected to a pump, the electrical system must be protected with a residual-current device (RCD), according to the equipment specification! The Buyer is fully responsible for the correct installation and use of the equipment and for the condition of the electrical system!
