Why you need a sauna hygrometer
In a Finnish sauna the air is hot and dry. When you pour water over the stones, the humidity rises sharply. Without an instrument this is just guesswork. The hygrometer gives you clear information, so you decide when to add more water.
The scale runs from 0 to 100 % relative humidity. The ideal range for a sauna is marked in blue, so you can see at once whether you are within it. The dial is also easy to read thanks to its 10 cm diameter.
The right humidity is part of a good sauna experience. When it is too low, the air is dry. When it is higher, the heat feels stronger. The hygrometer helps you find the balance that suits you. The instrument is also easy to mount and needs no setup.
