Sauna humidity sensor – what it is for
The sensor is placed in the sauna. It measures the relative humidity of the air. The heater maintains the humidity you have set. That is why you avoid controlling the evaporator by hand.
This gives you a more even climate in the cabin. You do not need to get up in the middle of a session. You simply set the desired value and enjoy the sauna.
Which heater it is intended for
- Mountfield Combi 9 kW sauna heater with external control.
- The heater has a built-in steam generator.
- The sensor is recommended by the heater's manufacturer for precisely setting the humidity.
The manufacturer recommends a humidity sensor specifically for this heater. This makes setting the desired humidity precise. If you do not have a heater yet, also take a look at the Combi 9 kW heater itself at baseini.net.
Automatic control is especially convenient when you use the sauna often. The heater switches the steam on and off by itself according to the set value. This keeps the climate stable while you concentrate on relaxing. It is a practical solution for anyone who likes precise settings.
Connection
To connect the sensor to the heater you need a sufficiently long sauna cable. It is not part of the sensor and is bought separately. Before ordering, measure the distance between the heater and the place for the sensor. This way you will choose the right cable length.
The product comes with an instruction manual on the Mountfield page. If you have questions, write to us.
Complete your sauna
The sensor is a small but very useful part of the heater. Place it in a suitable spot according to the instructions.
With the sensor it is also convenient to use sauna aroma oils. They go into the heater's bowl. Combine them with a hygrometer to keep track of the climate. This makes your sessions even more pleasant and comfortable.
