The PureSpa hot tub buckle holds the straps of the inflatable hot tub together. It has two parts, and this is the inner one.
The original Mountfield inner part clicks exactly into the outer half. This is why the clasp is strong and safe.

How a PureSpa hot tub buckle works
The picture shows a beige plastic part with two flexible arms with arrow-shaped ends. They go into the outer part and click into place. The central slot guides the strap. This is why the inner part is made of more flexible plastic. It is the arms that break most often when the buckle is fastened many times. The manufacturer also offers this part in another colour, so compare the colour with yours.
When to replace the buckle
- when the buckle is broken or cracked;
- when it no longer closes and does not click;
- when one of the two parts is lost;
- when the strap does not hold in it.
How it is installed
First remove the strap from the old buckle. Then check whether the other half is sound. If it is not, replace both parts. Thread the strap through the new part in the same way as with the old one. Tighten and click the buckle. Finally, pull the strap to make sure it holds. This keeps the cover well fastened.
Advantages of the original buckle
The original parts are made to fit Mountfield frames and straps. This is why they click with light pressure and do not come loose. Universal buckles are often wider or narrower. Then the strap slips and the cover does not close all the way. In addition, the original is made of a material suitable for outdoor use and water. This way it does not fade quickly.
