The stone is non-slip and has a natural, gentle relief which, besides complementing its aesthetic appearance, provides high safety against slipping for you and your family. The inner edge (on the water side) is higher and creates a barrier against dust directly entering the pool, while at the same time being perfectly rounded to provide comfort when sitting on the edge of the pool.

A SOLUTION FOR EVERY EXTERIOR

Carobbio takes care of the atmosphere around the pool, but also offers: cement products for the garden, cladding for columns, paving for outdoor or indoor staircases, garden paving in natural shades of natural stone or wood. One of the reasons to choose these products is the possibility of creating an exterior in a single style from the chosen series.

Installation recommendations

Before gluing the products in place, place them in position beforehand, before applying adhesive, so that you can assess the cuts that need to be made. Fix the product using professional tile adhesive. For floor paving over 16 m2, we recommend alternating the installation of product between all the ordered pallets. The products are handmade and there is a risk of a difference in shade if you lay elements from one batch one after another. The product must be fixed using the special mortar, and any excess must be removed immediately. Each individual product is subject to a tolerance of 4 mm. If the installation is carried out before the pool is completed, we recommend that the stone be covered to avoid possible damage, since if it is not sanded it may absorb all kinds of dirt.

Product maintenance

We strongly recommend the use of stain removal and color revitalization products that guarantee the beauty of your surfaces over time. Cleaning smooth products with high-pressure water jets and/or aggressive chemical products is not recommended; The manufacturer and importer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused as a result of their application. It should not be used to prevent ice formation or to remove ice from surfaces and edges. When opening the package, some items may have wet spots on the surface due to internal humidity – this is considered normal. In order for the overall appearance of the product to be uniform, a maturation period of at least six months is required.

The coping stone should be regularly treated with a waterproofing product.

Important!

Our products are conglomerates of natural components and colour pigments and therefore we cannot give any guarantee of colour uniformity between different batches. Sandblasting may not be consistent in batches delivered at different times. It should be noted that some elements may have whitish spots (efflorescence) due to calcium hydroxide on the surface reacting with atmospheric CO2. If rapid removal is desired, wash the product with a 5-10% solution of hydrochloric acid in water, spreading it evenly with a cleaning brush and rinsing it thoroughly with plenty of water. In this regard, as efflorescence is a natural phenomenon that disappears over time, the supplier will not consider any complaints arising in this regard. A distance of 1 mm between each element is recommended.

In all cases the warranty is limited to replacement of a defective, uninstalled product and does not cover installation.
