A twisted or scratched cable on a Warrior robot stops the vacuum from moving along the bottom. This original cable is 13 m long and floating. Because it has a swivel connection, it does not tangle as easily when the robot turns.

When to replace the cable of a Warrior robot

The cable is the most heavily stressed part of the robot. It is dragged through the water, bends on edges and stays in the sun. Over time the sheath cracks or the connection starts to jam. So if you see damage, replace the cable immediately.

Do not use a robot with damaged insulation. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. Also stop operation if the robot only switches on from time to time.

What You Get

The set is a grey cable with connection ends and a swivel blue connection to the robot's housing. A small assembly key is also visible in the photo. The connection is marked with a diagram showing the steps for attaching it.

How it is installed

Switch off the power and take the robot out of the pool.
Disconnect the old cable from the housing.
Follow the diagram on the new connection to attach it correctly.
Check that the connection is firm and sealed.
Unfold the cable along its entire length before immersing the robot.

Tips for a long service life

After each cleaning, take the cable out of the water and unfold it. Do not twist it around the robot's housing. Also store it in the shade and away from sharp edges.

Inspect the cable for scratches at the start of the season. This way you will spot the damage before it becomes dangerous. If you hesitate, write to us for advice.
