Alkorplan is the reinforced PVC pool membrane brand of the German RENOLIT group. The liners are made in Sant Celoni near Barcelona and cover pools in over 70 countries worldwide.
What is a reinforced Alkorplan liner
The reinforced Alkorplan liner consists of two flexible PVC-P sheets. Between them lies a polyester mesh. It gives strength and a long life, while the membrane stays elastic and follows every shape of the pool.
The top layer contains UV pigments, a non-volatile plasticiser and a stabiliser. A protective lacquer sits on top. It protects the surface from scratches, sun, stains and microorganisms. The bottom layer contains a fungicide against bacteria.
The liner suits both a new pool and a renovation. It is laid on almost any base – concrete, old tiles or a metal wall. The only exception is surfaces with bituminous membranes. Installation is clean, quiet and takes about half the time of other systems.
The manufacturer gives a written 10-year warranty for watertightness. For the TOUCH, VOGUE and CERAMICS EVOLVE collections, the warranty is 15 years. This way your pool stays dry and beautiful for a long time.
