The hot tub base mat is the original base placed under the bottom of PureSpa hot tubs. It is round, grey and has a shaped rim around the perimeter. It is suitable for the Plus, Jet, Bubble and Greywood models. This way the bottom has extra protection from uneven ground.

Hot tub base mat – what it is for

The hot tub stands directly on the ground, so the bottom bears the most load. The mat is spread between the floor and the body. It protects the material from contact with sharp stones and unevenness. That is why it is laid before filling with water.

When to replace the mat

Replace the mat when it is torn, worn through or lost. Fit a new one after you move the hot tub to another place too. A sturdy mat makes the installation worry-free.

How it is installed

First choose a level, clean spot without stones and branches. Then spread out the mat and centre it. Place the hot tub on it so that the edges do not fold over. Finally, fill the hot tub following the manufacturer's instructions.
