What the Azuro 2000 cartridge filter is for
The Azuro 2000 skimmer filter draws water from the surface of the pool. Leaves and insects stay in the basket, while the finer particles are stopped by the cartridge. When the cartridge gets dirty, water flows through it with more difficulty and becomes cloudier.
Then it is time for replacement. The new insert again traps the dirt and the water stays clean. The skimmer filter is 12 V, with a power of 20 W and a flow rate of 2 m³/h.
Paper cartridge – the economical choice
The paper cartridge is the cheaper solution for regular replacement. It is suitable when you change the insert often during the season. If you are looking for a longer-lasting option, see the Play cartridge filter for the same skimmer filter.
This way you choose for yourself between a lower price and a longer service life. Both inserts fit the Azuro 2000 skimmer filter.
Main features
- Paper filter cartridge.
- For the Azuro 2000 skimmer filter, cartridge diameter 40 mm.
- The package contains 1 piece.
- Easy replacement of the old insert.
- Mountfield spare part.
How to replace the insert
Disconnect the skimmer filter from the power supply. Then remove the old cartridge from the housing. Place the new insert in the same spot.
Before you switch the unit on, check that the cartridge is firmly and correctly seated. Then start the skimmer filter again.
When to replace the cartridge
Inspect the insert every few days. If it has darkened or clogged, replace it. With heavily contaminated water, more frequent replacement is sometimes needed.
This way the filtration works without strain, and the water in the pool stays clean. That is why it is good to have a spare cartridge at hand.
Spare part from Mountfield
The cartridge is part of Mountfield's range of consumables for pool filters. In the shop you will also find other parts for above-ground pools.
Store the spare cartridge in a dry, clean place in its original packaging. That way it is ready for use when you need it. The Azuro 2000 paper cartridge filter is a good choice for anyone who wants to keep running costs low.
