Teak – the wood that lasts outdoors
The most valuable quality of teak is its exceptionally long life. The wood is also very resistant to the weather. The teak of Ambra is Indonesian, solid and well processed.
The surface has no additional coating. This way you see the true structure of the wood. The initial colour is honey-brown.
Over time, without care, the wood turns silvery grey. If you want to keep the warm colour, use teak oils.
How to care for the chair
Teak is not a demanding material. A little regular care, however, preserves its beautiful colour.
Cleaning
Wash the chair with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Then rinse it and let it air dry.
Colour
Teak oil gives you a choice between a light and a dark brown shade. A treated chair keeps its warm honey tone. An untreated one turns silvery grey over time.
In winter
According to the manufacturer, teak furniture can stay outdoors all year round. If you wish, fold the chair and store it somewhere dry.
