Connector for top profiles of Galaxy and Azuro pools
A top profile connector joins two adjacent profiles along the top edge of the pool. This keeps them in one line and stops them from shifting.
The original Mountfield connector fits exactly into the profile. This is why no modification is needed, and the connection is strong and neat.

The connector is used together with the Azuro 403 top profile and the top profile for the round section. In addition, the plastic top profile sits on the top edge. It is suitable for the Azuro 405DL pool, and for other elements see the spare parts for prefabricated pools.
What a top profile connector is for
The picture shows a long metal part with a U-shaped cross-section. It goes into the ends of two profiles and aligns them. This keeps the top edge of the pool straight and stable. When you press on the profile, the connection does not bend. The connector sits inside the profile, so it is not visible after installation. But the look of the whole top edge depends on it.
When to replace the connector
- when it was lost while taking the pool apart;
- when it is bent or deformed;
- when the profiles do not stay in one line;
- when there is play at the joint.
How it is installed
First detach the two profiles you will be connecting. Then clear their ends of dirt. Slide the connector into one profile. Bring the second profile closer and guide it onto the protruding part. Finally, press the two profiles together until they touch. Check that the connection is level and does not wobble.

The original connector has the exact width and length for Mountfield profiles. Universal rails are often narrower. Then play remains in the profile and the top edge bends.
