What the 32 mm hose adapter is used for
The adapter screws onto the wall fitting. The fitting is on the inside of the pool, at the outlet to the filtration. The vacuum hose is connected to the adapter.
This way the pool water passes through the filtration during cleaning. The pool wall is not modified, and the connection is made simply by screwing it on.
The adapter has a round body and four lugs along the edge. They help with gripping and screwing it on. The pipe end has a sealing ring for a tighter connection with the hose.
Compatibility
The manufacturer states that the adapter is compatible with SWING wall fittings. It also fits INTEX pools. This is convenient if you need a new or additional adapter for either type of pool.
Before ordering, take a look at the wall fitting of your pool. It must be of the same type as on Swing or Intex.
Main advantages
- Quick installation by screwing onto the fitting.
- Connection between the vacuum hose and the filtration.
- Suitable for Swing wall fittings and for Intex pools.
- Visible sealing ring on the pipe end.
- Bright blue colour that is easy to spot.
How to use it
Screw the adapter onto the fitting inside the pool. Then push the hose onto its end. Check the connection before switching on the filtration.
After cleaning, switch off the filtration and remove the hose. This keeps the adapter clean and ready for the next cleaning.
If yours is lost or cracked, replace it with a new one. This way the pool vacuum will work with the filtration again without needless searching for parts.
