The collector pipe keeps the sand inside the filter and lets only the water through. This original 145 mm collector pipe has ribs, slots and a thread. It is suitable for Azuro 9 and 11 m³/h sand filters.

145 mm collector pipe – when to replace it
The pipe is replaced when the slots clog or the plastic cracks. Then sand may get into the pool or the flow is obstructed. That is why you should inspect it every time you change the filter media. You should also replace it if it is visibly deformed.
The original pipe has the same size and thread as the old one. That is why it is easy to fit and does not let sand through. Universal substitutes often have different slot sizes.
How it is installed
- Switch off the pump and drain the water from the filter.
- Remove the sand and disconnect the old pipe.
- Clean the thread and the seat at the bottom.
- Screw the new pipe into place.
- Put the sand back and reassemble the filter.
