The filter tank is the main body of the sand filtration unit. This tank with a capacity of 14 l is for the Swing Plus 14 sand filtration. The body is black and carries the Swing pools logo.
The tank holds the filter sand and withstands the pressure in the filtration unit. If it cracks or deforms, the filter starts to leak. Causes of damage can be freezing water, impact or age. The body then needs replacing.

The tank is for the Swing Plus 4 m³/h sand filtration. When replacing it, also check the O-ring between the valve and the tank, and for the valve see the six-way valve and the other parts for filters.
When to replace a filter tank
Replace the tank in case of cracks, leaks or visible deformation. Do not try to glue the body under pressure. The original part is for this model and fits the other elements of the filtration. This way you keep the system safe to operate.

How to replace it
First switch off the filtration and release the pressure. Then drain the water and empty out the sand. Disconnect the pump and the hoses. Remove the old tank. Fit the new one and reconnect all the elements. Fill with fresh sand and check for leaks.
When replacing the tank, it is best to replace the filter sand too. This way the filtration starts with a clean base. Do not fill the tank to the top with sand. Observe the level given in the manual. In winter, drain the water from the body so that it does not freeze. When ordering, state the model of the filtration. If you have the old tank, compare it with the photo.
