The MTH SK 2.1 skimmer for Frame pools is a sturdy, durable hanging skimmer designed specially for frame pools. It hooks over the pool rim and needs no opening in the wall. This gives you a real skimmer, which frame pools usually lack.

What the Frame pool skimmer includes
The set consists of an outer housing and an inner skimmer unit. It also contains 2 elbows of 90°, 2 spacers and 2 pipe pieces, each about 29 cm long. The pipes are cut to the width of the rim. This way the skimmer sits best on the pool rim.
PVC glue is not included and is needed for assembly. An additional adjustable housing spacer ensures a perfectly vertical position of the skimmer unit. The outlets have a 1½″ female thread. They allow connection to all common pipe diameters with suitable adapters.
Large basket and return nozzle
The SK 2.1 has an especially large pre-filter basket. It reliably traps leaves and insects. Compared with the usual skimmers for frame pools, the pump basket needs cleaning much less often.
In addition, chlorine tablets can be dosed safely through the skimmer. They are distributed evenly and do not bleach the liner.
The filtered water returns through the integrated pipe with an adjustable return nozzle. This lets you aim the jet as you wish. The water circulates better and there are no stagnant zones.

Advantages for the frame pool
Frame pools usually have no real skimmer. The SK 2.1 solves this problem with no openings in the wall.
The skimmer also reduces the need to clean the pump often. Its basket is large and holds more dirt. This means maintenance takes less time. The pool stays cleaner and upkeep is easier.
Cleaning the pool floor through the skimmer
The suction plate is placed in the skimmer. An ordinary suction hose, a telescopic pole and a floor brush connect to it. They are not included in the set.
The sand filter provides the necessary suction. This way you clean the floor while the water is being filtered. The plate is always removed when no device is connected.

Traditional production in Bavaria
MTH started in 1970 with electric heaters and cartridge filters for private pools. In 1980, the production of above-ground pools and PVC liners began, and from 1986, the Waldkreiburg plant added heat welding and high-frequency welding.
Since 2006, MTH has been part of the global Fluidra group, but the products continue to be manufactured entirely in Germany under its own brand – steel pools, liners, solar covers and skimmers.
All MTH products are manufactured in the traditional factory in Waldkreiburg, Bavaria.
