Poolsana large chlorine tablet dosing float – with or without thermometer

How the dosing float works

The float is suitable for large and small tablets, for example chlorine multi-tabs. The desired amount is set using the ring at the bottom, which determines how actively the tablets dissolve. The release of the product is also more even than when adding it all at once.

Adding chemicals directly into the pool carries a risk of bleaching the liner. That is why tablets are placed in the float or in the skimmer basket. The float is handy when you want to control the dosage manually.

1. Suitable for large and small tablets
2. Adjustable ring for the amount at the bottom
3. Two models – with or without thermometer

Which model to choose

The large float is about 19 cm high and about 17 cm in diameter. It is a good choice when you only want dosing. The model with a built-in thermometer also shows the water temperature. The scale runs from 0 to 50 °C, or from 0 to 120 °F.

With the thermometer model you can use tablets weighing up to 200 g. Its height is about 17.5 cm. The adjustment ring is also at the bottom. This gives you both a dispenser and a thermometer in one device.

How to use the float

Place the tablets in the float and put it in the water. Set the ring according to the chlorine demand. Check the chlorine level and pH regularly with a tester.

For example, with a larger pool or warmer water, more frequent checks may be needed. Keep chemicals away from children and animals.

Advantages of the float

The float is light, simple and requires no installation. It moves freely on the water surface and takes up no space in the skimmer. The ring setting also lets you choose the amount according to the pool size, so it is useful both in small inflatable pools and in larger ones.
