Look and character of Nature Stone paving

The surface has the natural unevenness of split stone, and the edges are straight. The slip-resistance class is A+B. The three formats allow different laying patterns – large slabs only, or a mixed pattern with halves and quarters. For the pool edge there is Nature coping stone of the same material.

Formats and prices

The price is per slab, including VAT. Choose the colour and format from the menus next to the price.

A 50 × 50 cm slab covers 0.25 m² – four slabs per square metre. With the grey colour, efflorescence may appear after cutting.

Colours and surface

The main colours are white, yellow and grey. There is also a dark Active shade, available for an extra charge. The slip-resistance class of the surface is A+B. The colour on screen depends on your monitor and the lighting when the photo was taken, so please request a sample for the exact shade.

How to lay the paving

1. Lay the slabs out dry and decide where cuts will be needed.
2. The base must be stable, dry and cured. Work at a temperature between 5 and 30–35 °C.
3. Glue with a professional stone adhesive.
4. For paving over 16 m², alternate slabs from all the pallets – this blends the shades evenly.
5. Grout with the manufacturer's grout mix and wipe off the excess immediately.
6. If the pool is still being built, cover the paving until the work is finished.

Materials for laying and cleaning

• Adhesive for coping and slabs, 25 kg bag – enough for about 20 slabs.
• Grout, 25 kg bag, in white, grey, pink, yellow and brick – for about 12 m² of slabs.
• Caroprotec impregnator against water and stains, 5 l container – for about 25 m² of slabs.
• Deter-AC for cleaning after installation and Cibermac for seasonal cleaning – 5 l containers, each for about 25 m² of slabs.

Maintenance

After laying, wash the paving with the post-installation cleaner. Then treat it with a water- and stain-repellent impregnator – stone that is not impregnated absorbs every kind of dirt. Do not wash smooth surfaces with a high-pressure washer or aggressive chemicals. Do not use de-icing salt on the paving. When the packaging is opened, there may be damp patches on the slabs. This is normal: the colour evens out completely in about six months.

Important before ordering

The products are a mix of natural aggregates and pigments, so the colour and sandblasting may differ between batches. For paving over 16 m², alternate elements from all the pallets. The tolerance for each size is ± 5 mm. Whitish patches (efflorescence) and, more rarely, brownish ones are possible – a natural phenomenon with cement-based materials that disappears over time. The manufacturer's warranty covers replacement of a defective element that has not yet been laid, so inspect the goods before installation.
