Look and character of Granit Stone paving
The slab is rectangular, with an even thickness and a sandblasted surface with slip-resistance class A+B+C. For the pool edge there is Granit Stone coping stone in the same format, with a rounded nosing.

A 60 × 30 cm slab covers 0.18 m² – about 5.6 slabs per square metre. The black shade is supplied on request.
Colours and surface
The paving is available in white and Serizzo (grey granite); the black shade is on request. The slip-resistance class of the surface is A+B+C. The colour on the screen depends on the monitor and the lighting when photographed, so ask for a sample to see the exact shade.

How to lay the paving
- Lay the slabs out dry and decide where cuts will be needed.
- The base must be stable, dry and cured. Work at a temperature between 5 and 30–35 °C.
- Glue with a professional stone adhesive.
- For paving over 16 m², alternate slabs from all the pallets – this blends the shades evenly.
- Grout with the manufacturer's grout mix and wipe off the excess immediately.
- If the pool is still being built, cover the paving until the work is finished.
Materials for laying and cleaning
- Adhesive for coping and slabs, 25 kg bag – enough for about 20 slabs.
- Grout, 25 kg bag, in white, grey, pink, yellow and brick – for about 12 m² of slabs.
- Caroprotec impregnator against water and stains, 5 l container – for about 25 m² of slabs.
- Deter-AC for cleaning after installation and Cibermac for seasonal cleaning – 5 l containers, each for about 25 m² of slabs.
Maintenance
After laying, wash the paving with the post-installation cleaner. Then treat it with a water- and stain-repellent impregnator – stone that is not impregnated absorbs every kind of dirt. Do not wash smooth surfaces with a high-pressure washer or aggressive chemicals. Do not use de-icing salt on the paving. When the packaging is opened, there may be damp patches on the slabs. This is normal: the colour evens out completely in about six months.
Important before ordering
The products are a mix of natural aggregates and pigments, so the colour and sandblasting may differ between batches. For paving over 16 m², alternate elements from all the pallets. The tolerance for each size is ± 5 mm. Whitish patches (efflorescence) and, more rarely, brownish ones are possible – a natural phenomenon with cement-based materials that disappears over time. The manufacturer's warranty covers replacement of a defective element that has not yet been laid, so inspect the goods before installation.

Carobbio S.r.l. is an Italian company from Sorisole near Bergamo. For fifty years it has been producing coping, paving and finishing elements for pools from reconstituted stone, and today it is run by the family's second generation. It also owns the patented RockPool system for prefabricated pools.
