Flexstone Stone Overflow Grille
This Flexstone stone overflow grille has transverse slats – the look of a classic grille, but in stone. The element is 50 × 24.5 cm, 4 cm thick, and weighs 9 kg.
In the manufacturer's photos, Flexstone also follows curved walls, so it is used for freeform pools as well.

Look and versions of the Flexstone stone overflow grille
The slats run across the channel and the water drains between them. The surface is rough, and sandblasted for a surcharge. The grille comes in versions V1 and V2 according to the overflow coping, and there is a corner grille for the corners.

Colours and surface
The basic colours are white, yellow and grey – with a rough surface, and sandblasted for a surcharge. The dark shade Active carries a surcharge. The Platinum series (Madreperla, Tahiti and Oceanic) and Crystal (Artic, Sahara and Tenerife) are sandblasted. The colour on the screen depends on the monitor, so ask for a sample to see the exact shade.

How the grille is installed
- Choose the version according to the overflow coping: V1 – for Spiaggia coping, V2 with two chamfers – for Standard and Alto coping, V4 – for Medio coping.
- Before installation, treat the grilles inside and out with Primer epoxy resin – the manufacturer requires this.
- The grille rests loosely on the edge of the overflow coping and on the support on the paving side, so that it can be lifted when the channel is cleaned.
- Corner grilles are fitted at the corners, and radius grilles along curved walls.
- Leave about 1 mm between the elements; their dimensions have a tolerance of ± 5 mm.
Materials for laying and cleaning
- Primer – two-component epoxy resin: 2 l for about 24 m of overflow coping, 5 l for about 60 m.
- Alimepox – two-component epoxy resin with white pigment for the overflow channel: 2 l for about 14 m, 5 l for about 35 m.
- Deter-AC for cleaning after installation and Cibermac for seasonal cleaning – 5 l containers.
Maintenance
Lift the grilles and clean the channel under them regularly. Wash them with water and the manufacturer's cleaning products. Do not use a high-pressure washer on smooth surfaces, aggressive chemicals or de-icing salt.
Important before ordering
The products are a mix of natural aggregates and pigments, so the colour and sandblasting may differ between batches. For paving over 16 m², alternate elements from all the pallets. The tolerance for each size is ± 5 mm. Whitish patches (efflorescence) and, more rarely, brownish ones are possible – a natural phenomenon with cement-based materials that disappears over time. The manufacturer's warranty covers replacement of a defective element that has not yet been laid, so inspect the goods before installation.
