Reliable LED lighting for metal pools
Illuminate your pool with reliable and elegant underwater LED lighting. POOLSANA VARIO 18W is a recessed spotlight designed specifically for pools with metal walls, steel and aluminum structures, as well as for pools with rounded shapes.
The model uses a compact mini niche that is installed in a pre-prepared hole with a diameter of 60 mm. The installation is similar to that of an inlet nozzle – the niche is placed from the inside of the pool to the outside and is securely fixed with a lock nut on the outside. This makes the spotlight a suitable choice for metal pools, where standard large spotlights are not always convenient to install.
The cool white light with a temperature of 6.500 K gives the water a clean, fresh and modern look. With a luminous flux of 1.800 lm and a beam angle of 120°, the spotlight provides strong and even illumination of the pool in the evening. The 2835 SMD LED diodes used combine good brightness, low consumption and a long service life.
One of the great advantages of POOLSANA VARIO is its easy maintenance. Thanks to the approximately 90 cm long cable inside the recess, the LED module can be removed and placed on the pool edge even when the pool is full. This means that if the lighting fixture needs to be replaced, there is no need to drain the water.
The kit includes everything you need for basic installation – LED spotlight, mini niche, gaskets, rubber spacer for tight radii, cable protection hose, clamps, connectors with shrinkable hose, 12 V transformer and cable box. The transformer reduces the voltage from 230 V to a safe 12 V AC, and the cable box serves to connect the cable above the water level.
POOLSANA VARIO 18W is a practical solution for anyone who wants beautiful, efficient and safe underwater lighting for a metal pool.
Installation and electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with swimming pool safety requirements. It is recommended that the electrical connection be made by a qualified electrician.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to drain the pool when replacing the LED module?
No. Thanks to the approximately 90 cm long cable inside the recess, the LED module can be removed and placed on the pool edge even when the pool is full. This allows replacement or maintenance without draining the water.
What should be considered in winter?
When winterizing, the water level should be either well above or well below the projector. It is important that the ice does not put pressure on the glass/front of the projector when it freezes, as this can lead to damage.
For which pools is POOLSANA VARIO 18W suitable?
The spotlight is suitable for pools with a metal wall, including steel and aluminum pools, as well as for pools with rounded shapes. It is mounted via a compact mini niche in a 60 mm diameter opening.
