LED underwater light POOLSANA VARIO 18W white light with white frame
€185.90 incl. VAT
LED underwater lighting POOLSANA VARIO 18W with cold white light 6500 K and luminous flux 1800 lm. The model is designed specifically for steel and aluminum pools with curved walls.
The lamp is mounted via a compact mini niche in a Ø 60 mm opening and allows easy replacement without draining the water from the pool.
Professional LED lighting for metal pools
The POOLSANA VARIO 18W LED floodlight is a built-in pool solution designed for metal pools with steel or aluminum walls. The model is particularly suitable for installation in curved sections of round and oval pools, where standard floodlights are not always convenient to place.
The luminaire provides cool white light with a color temperature of 6500 K. It gives the water a fresh and clean look, and the luminous flux of 1800 lm provides effective underwater lighting. The modern 2835 SMD LED diodes offer good light output with low energy consumption.
The installation is done via a compact mini niche, which is placed in a pre-made hole with a diameter of Ø 60 mm. The niche is installed from the inside of the pool to the outside and is fixed firmly on the outside with a lock nut. This way the spotlight stands securely and has a clean finished look on the inside of the pool.
One of the main advantages of POOLSANA VARIO is easier maintenance. Thanks to the approximately 90 cm long cable in the recess, the light fixture can be removed and placed on the pool edge even when the pool is full. This allows for lamp replacement without draining the water.
The kit includes an LED spotlight, a mini recess, 2 flat seals, a rubber spacer for tighter pool radii, a protective cable sleeve, 2 cable clamps and a pre-assembled power cable. Also included are connectors with a shrink sleeve for safe cable extension if necessary.
Important: this option is an LED floodlight with mounting components. For operation, a suitable low-voltage transformer 230 V to 12 V AC is required, which is not included in the kit.
Especially for metal pools
POOLSANA VARIO is designed for installation in curves of metal pools with steel or aluminum walls. The compact mini niche is placed in a Ø 60 mm opening and is securely fixed on the outside of the pool.
Replacement without draining the water
Thanks to the approximately 90 cm long cable in the recess, the lamp can be removed and replaced even when the pool is full. This makes maintenance faster, cleaner and more convenient.
Bright cool white light
The 6500 K light gives the water a fresh and clean look. The luminous flux of 1800 lm provides excellent illumination, and the 2835 SMD LED diodes work economically and reliably.
Frequently asked questions
For which pools is POOLSANA VARIO 18W suitable?
POOLSANA VARIO 18W is designed for metal pools with steel or aluminum walls. It is suitable for installation in curved sections of round and oval pools.
Should the pool be drained when replacing the lamp?
No. Thanks to the approximately 90 cm long cable in the recess, the lamp can be removed and replaced even when the pool is full. This makes maintenance faster and more convenient.
What should be considered when wintering?
During wintering, the water level should be either sufficiently above or sufficiently below the underwater spotlight. This way, the ice will not exert pressure on the spotlight glass when it freezes, reducing the risk of damage.
Is it necessary to process the hole when installing in a steel wall?
Yes, it is recommended. When cutting a hole for a built-in element, the protective layer of the metal wall is damaged. Therefore, it is a good idea to clean, dry and protect the edges of the hole with zinc spray to reduce the risk of corrosion.
