DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT:
The water salinity tester quickly and easily measures the salt concentration in pools and hot tubs.
The package contains 20 test strips.
With the help of a special salt electrolysis device called a salt chlorinator, natural chlorine is produced from salt by electrolysis, which effectively disinfects the pool water. Water treated in this way is crystal clear and does not irritate the skin or eyes.
For the correct function of salt electrolysis, the optimum value of the salt concentration should be in the range 2000 – 6000 mg / l. If the salt concentration is lower than 2000 mg / l, the function of the salt chlorinator decreases and the salt in the pool must be topped up.
In three simple steps you can find out the salt concentration values in just 4 minutes.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Dip the strip in a container filled with water.
- Leave the strip in the container for 4 minutes.
- Compare the colour of the strip with the colour chart on the label.
We recommend measuring the salt concentration regularly (at least twice a week, more often at higher water temperatures).
