HUUM Hive Mini 9 kW150 kg of stones and control from your phone
The HUUM Hive Mini is a 9 kW electric sauna heater with a tower of about 150 kg of stones. The package includes a control panel with a phone app, a safety railing and stones – a ready-made set for saunas from 8 to 13 m³.
HUUM Hive Mini – soft steam like from a wood-burning heater
The large mass of stones makes the steam of the Hive Mini soft and dense – the feeling is close to that of a wood-fired sauna, but with the convenience of electric heating. The heating elements are hidden in the tower of stones, and the sauna can be heated from your phone before you get home.
Power supply and dimensions
The heater is 750 mm high, 460 mm in diameter, and weighs 18 kg without the stones. It connects to 3/N~400 V with a 16 A fuse or to 1/N~230 V with a 40 A fuse. It is controlled with the HUUM UKU control panel and the HUUM app.
Control from your phone
With the HUUM app you switch the heater on from a distance, set the temperature and see when the sauna is ready. The control panel in the sauna shows the temperature and allows control even without a phone.
Which Hanscraft saunas is it suitable for
According to the Hanscraft table, the heater is suitable for the Hanscraft Barrel sauna in all sizes (225, 260 and 300) and for the Quadra XL of the Hanscraft Quadra sauna. You can select it directly in the sauna options. See also all sauna heaters.
Use and care
Arrange the stones loosely so that air can pass between them – this way the heater warms up faster and the steam is softer. Do not pour chlorinated pool water or sea water on the stones. Check the stones at least once a year and replace any that have crumbled.
