The Hanscraft Barrel sauna is the classic round outdoor sauna, made of 40 mm thermo pine. The rounded shape heats up quickly and evenly, and the glass door and LED lighting give it a modern look in any garden.
A thermowood barrel sauna – why it is different
Thermowood is treated at 180–230 °C without oxygen. This way the wood loses its resin and most of its moisture, becomes resistant to rot, fungi, insects and weather, and does not warp or shrink. That is why the sauna can stand outdoors without additional treatment, and inside there is no dripping resin and no smell of varnish – only warm wood.
The walls are made of 40 mm thermo pine, and the benches and interior floor are made of thermo aspen, which stays pleasant to the touch even at high temperatures. In front there is a small terrace with an outdoor floor of thermo pine and two benches, where you can drink a glass of water between the two rounds.
Three sizes for every family
Choose the length according to the number of people. The Barrel 225 is for 2 people and also fits a smaller yard. The Barrel 260 is for 4 people, and the Barrel 300 is for 6 people, with the most space for lying down. The height of all three models is 238 cm, and the diameter is 229 cm.
The round cross-section is naturally energy efficient: the volume is smaller than that of a rectangular sauna with the same bench length, so the steam room heats up faster and with less energy.

Heater for the barrel sauna – which models fit
All sizes are compatible with the electric HUUM Drop 9 kW, HUUM Core Wall 9 kW, Core Wall Combi 9 kW, HUUM Hive Mini 9 kW, SAWO Krios 9 kW and SAWO Aries 9 kW, as well as the wood-burning heaters Harvia M3, HUUM Hive Flow 10 kW and Hive Flow Mini 9 kW. The Sentiotec Viking 380 (8 kW) is suitable only for the Barrel 225 and 260 in the standard version, without panoramic glass. Choosing a heater in the options shows only the compatible models. All models are also in the category with the sauna heaters.
Options that make the sauna yours
1/2 panoramic glass for the rear wall lets in daylight and a view of the garden. The audio system with Bluetooth plays music from your phone. If you do not want to assemble it yourself, choose the assembled sauna – it is delivered ready to place.

The sauna is delivered on a pallet for assembly on site (optionally assembled). It is placed on a level and stable base – a concrete slab, paving slabs or point foundations that bear the weight of the sauna. The included main beams raise the structure above the ground.
The electric heater is connected by a qualified electrician according to the manufacturer's instructions. The wood-burning heater is installed with the chimney kit and while observing the safe distances. Installation is not included in the price – ask our consultant for a quote.
