Powerful underwater lighting for metal pools
Lighting is one of the most effective ways to make your pool more beautiful, more comfortable and more enjoyable to use in the evening. This set includes 2 POOLSANA VARIO 18W LED underwater spotlights with cold white light 6500 K, a white diffuser, a 12 V transformer and two cable boxes.
The model is designed specifically for metal pools with steel or aluminum walls. It is suitable for installation in curved sections, making it a practical solution for round and oval pools. Each spotlight is installed through a compact mini niche, which is placed in a pre-prepared hole with a diameter of about 60 mm. The instructions indicate a recommended hole of about 60 mm for passage through the pool wall.
The cool white light of 6500 K gives the water a clean, modern and fresh look. With a luminous flux of 1800 lm and a beam angle of 120°, the spotlights provide strong and even illumination of the pool. The 2835 SMD LED technology offers good efficiency and low consumption at a power of 18 W.
The set operates on a safe low voltage of 12 V AC. The included transformer reduces the voltage from 230 V to 12 V, and the cable boxes allow for correct and safer connection above the water level. According to the instructions, the floodlights should only be used with a safety transformer and are not intended for operation with constant voltage DC.
A great advantage of the system is its ease of maintenance. Thanks to the provided cable, the spotlight can be removed from the niche when it needs to be replaced, without having to drain the pool. The instructions describe retaining a cable that allows the lamp to be removed above the water for maintenance.
For safe and long-lasting use, the floodlights must be fully submerged in water. It is also important that they do not fall into an ice pressure zone in winter. The instructions state a maximum water temperature of 40°C and a requirement to keep the lamps out of ice zones.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of light do spotlights provide?
The spotlights shine with a cool white light of 6500 K, which gives the water a clear, clean and modern look. Each spotlight has a power of 18 W and a luminous flux of 1800 lm.
Can the spotlight be replaced without draining the pool?
Yes. The system is designed so that the spotlight can be removed from the recess and serviced more easily without having to drain the water from the pool.
What should be considered in winter?
When winterizing, it is important that the water level is either high enough above the floodlight or low enough below it so that ice does not put pressure on the floodlight glass. This helps to avoid frost damage.
