Round Solar Cover OXO MTH 500 µm – Sapphire Blue or Blue-Black
The MTH round OXO solar cover keeps the heat in your pool water. It is made of polyethylene 500 µm thick with air chambers using OXO technology. The cover is cut to the diameter of the pool.

Round solar cover OXO – two colours
- Sapphire blue – for the best possible thermal insulation. The chambers reduce heat loss at night, while during the day the water is gently warmed by the sun;
- Blue-black – blue top and black underside. The black side is completely opaque and strongly limits algae growth.
OXO technology
Traditional air bubbles have sharp edges and thin spots. They are vulnerable to UV rays and chemicals. OXO chambers have an even, rounded wall, so they last much longer. Their shape and arrangement also give a maximum heat reserve.
What the solar cover gives you
- less heat loss, especially at night;
- more efficient heating, especially with a heat pump;
- almost complete prevention of water evaporation;
- less dirt and fewer chemicals.
According to the manufacturer, evaporation is reduced by 98% or more, and the expected service life is over 6 years.
The cover lies directly on the water and is level with the edge of the pool. It is most useful at night, especially together with a heat pump. Then the next day’s heating does not have to make up for the whole night’s loss. This way heating costs go down, and caring for the water becomes easier.
How to use it
Place the cover with the smooth side up. It is cut to the shape and size of the pool. If the size does not fit perfectly, trim it with sturdy scissors. The creases from the packaging usually smooth out within a few days.
When you are not using it, do not leave it in direct sun. Do not drag it over the edge of the pool or over sharp edges. For large sizes, work with two people. The cover is removed during shock chlorination until the chlorine returns to normal levels.
In winter, roll or fold it up. Never leave it in the water.

Traditional production in Bavaria
MTH started in 1970 with electric heaters and cartridge filters for private pools. In 1980, the production of above-ground pools and PVC liners began, and from 1986, the Waldkreiburg plant added heat welding and high-frequency welding.
Since 2006, MTH has been part of the global Fluidra group, but the products continue to be manufactured entirely in Germany under its own brand – steel pools, liners, solar covers and skimmers.
All MTH products are manufactured in the traditional factory in Waldkreiburg, Bavaria.
