Poolsana MTH liner for rectangular pool – blue, sand, grey or 4D
The MTH liner for a rectangular pool is the inner lining for pools with rigid walls – steel, concrete and EPS. It is made of strong PVC with a welded wedge edge. This way it hooks in easily and the corners are slightly rounded for easier cleaning.

Rectangular pool liner – colours and type
This way you choose the colour from the list of variations.
- Blue 0.8 mm – the classic colour;
- Sand 0.8 mm – for light and warm water;
- Grey 0.8 mm – for a modern look;
- 4D green 0.9 mm – marbled and embossed surface.
Dimensions
So choose the size according to the inner size of the pool. 5.00 × 3.00, 6.00 × 3.00, 7.00 × 3.50 and 8.00 × 4.00 m are available at a depth of 1.50 m. The liner is made slightly undersized, which is compensated by the warmth and pressure of the water.
Wedge edge and installation
For example, the wedge edge (KB) is hooked into a hanging profile. For concrete and EPS pools, aluminium profiles are used. The profiles are also ordered separately.
Install the liner at 15–25 °C and out of strong sun. This gives you a smooth result without unnecessary wrinkles. So plan the installation for a warm, calm day, not for a cold evening.
Preparing the base
A protective geotextile is laid under the liner. This protects the PVC from irregularities on the walls and the floor. We offer a white fungicidal geotextile and a spray adhesive for fixing it.
Quality and warranty
The liner is made in Germany – from the raw material to the welded lining. The seam tightness is guaranteed for 8 years for 0.8 mm and 10 years for 4D, according to the manufacturer's terms.
The PVC is UV-stabilised and resistant to weather and cold. It also meets the European standard EN 71/3 for the safety of toys.
The water must not be warmer than 28 °C for 0.8 mm and 32 °C for 4D. Prolonged excess can leave permanent wrinkles.

Traditional production in Bavaria
MTH started in 1970 with electric heaters and cartridge filters for private pools. In 1980, the production of above-ground pools and PVC liners began, and from 1986, the Waldkreiburg plant added heat welding and high-frequency welding.
Since 2006, MTH has been part of the global Fluidra group, but the products continue to be manufactured entirely in Germany under its own brand – steel pools, liners, solar covers and skimmers.
All MTH products are manufactured in the traditional factory in Waldkreiburg, Bavaria.
